What exactly is a JoyLamp?
A 3D illusion lamp: a clear acrylic plate, laser-engraved with a drawing made from your photos, standing on an LED base. Switched on, the engraving glows and looks three-dimensional; switched off, the plate is almost invisible.
How much does it cost?
$39.90 with the LED base, shipping included. Other bases are available on the design page, and the design preview is free.
Do I pay before I see my design?
No. You see your designs on the lamp for free. You only order the one you choose.
Can I put several people on one lamp?
Yes, up to 6 people or pets. Use one photo where everyone is together, or separate photos of each of them: we bring them together in one scene.
Which photos work best?
Clear, well-lit photos where each face is easy to see, looking toward the camera, without sunglasses. Two or three photos per person help us get the likeness right.
Can I change the design?
Yes. Describe the change in your own words (a bigger smile, a hat, stars around you) and we redraw it. You can also ask for 3 new designs.
Can I add a name or a date?
Yes, up to 32 characters, engraved under the drawing. We engrave it exactly as you typed it.
How long does delivery take?
Your lamp is made to order and delivered in up to 14 days, with tracking.
Can I use a photo of a celebrity or a cartoon character?
No. JoyLamp only makes lamps of you and the people and pets you love. Upload photos you took or have permission to use.
What happens to my photos?
They are used only to create your design and make your lamp. They are never shown publicly.
